Lead Vocals
Benny
has been surrounded by music his entire life. He's been on
the club scene for more than 20 years. His influences
include Robert Plant, Geoff Tate, Rob Halford and Roger
Daltry to name a few. Some of his known projects are:
Paradigm, Bast'd, and No Klew. Benny puts every ounce of
himself, his heart and soul, into every performance. He
enjoys his fans and his fans enjoy him.
Guitar
Anthony started
playing guitar in 1998. Being primarily self-taught, he took
an interest in several virtuoso guitarists to develop his
technique.
Most
of his style has been developed around progressive music. He
became heavily influenced by John Petrucci of Dream Theater.
After studying Petrucci for a long time, he began expanding
his scope to a wide range of modern progressive rock players
such as Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, and Michael Romeo, to
classic players such as Steve Howe, Brian May, and Alex
Lifeson. Anthony recently played with the band "Awakening"
at various venues in the New York area. When not gigging with CLR, Anthony spends time
creating original music for the band "Ending in E". Of his experience with CLR, Anthony
says: "Participating in this project has helped develop my
skills as a well-rounded guitarist... and I'm having a great
time with it."
Bass, Keyboards
Tony, a
veteran bass player of 30 years, has performed
throughout the
tri-state
area in a wide assortment of classic rock projects. He
has played in popular club bands like "Tasty" and "Big
Shot" and most recently in "Stay Tuned"
and "Awakening". His major rock
influences are: Chris Squire, John Entwistle and John
Paul Jones. Of his experience with CLR, he says: "It has
been great to work again with drummer and good friend,
Bob Luciano, and to find two other guys who are
outstanding and dedicated. Playing the music we all love
playing has really been great fun."
Drums
Bob is very
comfortable behind the kit. His playing style is best
described as diverse. He handles everything from light
jazz to metal. Bob spent much of his time in the
70's
and early 80's with "Big Shot" and "Tasty", two of the
eras premier cover bands traveling the tri-state area.
More recently, he has spent some studio time laying down
drum tracks and working with the band "Awakening". Bob's influences include Billy Cobham,
Steve Gadd, Keith Moon and Bill Bruford. "CLR gives me
the opportunity to team up once again with my life-long
friend kicking it on bass, and to work with guys who
enjoy what they do. It's good to be home."
